Gebrüder Weiss are presenting partners of the KRM route in 2025 with destinations on the Kitzbüheler Horn and in Kitzbühel.
The Kitzbüheler Radmarathon remains true to its line and will continue to rely on strong partnerships in 2025. Gebrüder Weiss, a premium partner of the event since the first edition, is taking on the role of presenting partner of the KRM route this year with both finish options: the legendary Kitzbüheler Horn and the Kitzbüheler Vorderstadt.
“The Kitzbüheler Radmarathon combines endurance and sustainable mobility – values that are also important to Gebrüder Weiss,” says Frank Haas, Head of Marketing and Communications at Gebrüder Weiss. “As a logistics company, we focus on efficient and environmentally friendly solutions. Cycling is emblematic of this, which is why we are once again supporting the event as a premium partner and route patron.”
The connection between the traditional logistics company and the KRM has developed steadily over the years. After the commitment as a relay patron, the partnership followed for the KRM-Kitz variant, then for the KRM-Klassik and now as a presentation partner for both route options.
With 216 kilometers and 4,600 vertical meters (KRM Classic) and 209 kilometers and 3,800 vertical meters (KRM Kitz), the route of the Kitzbüheler Radmarathon is an enormous challenge. The route leads over the Pass Thurn into the Pinzgau region, continuing along the Gerlos main road with views of the Großvenediger, up to the Gerlos Pass and through the Zillertal valley. The Kerschbaumer Sattel demands another top performance from the participants before the route leads back to Kitzbühel via the Alpbachtal valley. It is only there that the decision is made as to whether to head for the finish in the historic Vorderstadt or the challenging Kitzbüheler Horn.
The involvement of Gebrüder Weiss as presenting route partner once again demonstrates that the Kitzbüheler Radmarathon not only stands for top sporting performance, but also for values such as sustainability, endurance and efficient mobility – aspects that combine cycling with the modern logistics industry.
