On Sunday, September 7, 2025, there will be increased cycling traffic around Kitzbühel due to the 5th edition of the Kitzbüheler Radmarathon.

To ensure the best possible safety for all participants while keeping traffic disruptions to a minimum, there will be temporary one-way road closures and partial restrictions. The course will not be fully closed to traffic. The Austrian Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) remain in effect.

General Information

The 5th edition of the Kitzbühel Cycling Marathon will take place on September 7, 2025. With two finish options – KRM Classic and KRM Kitz – the marathon is a true endurance test for cyclists, offering not only a sporting challenge but also stunning Alpine scenery.

  • KRM Classic: 216 km, 4,600 meters of elevation, finishing at Austria’s most famous and steepest cycling climb, the Kitzbüheler Horn – the ultimate challenge.

  • KRM Kitz: 209 km, 3,800 meters of elevation, finishing in Kitzbühel’s beautiful historic town center with cheering crowds – a great alternative for those aiming to build up to the Classic.
